WHAT IS THE CHURCH CURRENTLY DOING?

We are currently doing the following:
  • following STAGE 5 community mitigation strategy as suggested by the CDC and Indiana County Emergency Management Agency .
  • meeting with the leadership team and core ministry leaders to constantly update protocol and evaluate every activity and gathering in response to CDC and Dept of Health guidance.
  • liaising with community church leaders and emergency response agencies for a cohesive approach to meeting an eventual needs in the community.
  • maintaining stay-at-home/work-from-home orders for all our current activities.
  • Have a response team ready to serve emergency services and benevolence needs in our area where appropriate.
  • Have a response plan for reduced services and shutdown process if threat level increases.

We will be responding to the guidance from the CDC, and local emergency agency and not media outlets or local chatter. The Indiana County Emergency Management Agency has a thorough “Pandemic Response Plan” which we will adopt and support in keeping with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies guidance.

SERVING WITH #LOVEINDIANAPA

When disaster strikes, we often fend for our own and the tendency to look inwards is tempting. While part of being safe in this scenario involves isolation, let us be careful not to succumb to a self-only mentality. There will be people struggling around us, some will need immediate assistance too. If you are willing and able, you can partner with us to either financially support the needy in our community with essential supplies.

If and when it is safe, we might need people who can assist response agencies in the coming months, so please click partner link above.

PRAYER WARRIORS

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer is a tool of God’s purposes on the earth. Our church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty in all matters. As believers in Jesus, we get the opportunity to welcome God’s presence in our community, and pray the prayers that change our community for the better. Consider praying each day for our region amidst this crisis.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I’M SICK?

If you are unwell and suffer from flu-like symptoms, it would be prudent to isolate yourself and see if your condition is showing signs of COVID-19 which may appear 2-14 days after exposure.*
